How do I extend my debenture?   

We are currently offering free Debenture extensions to all those Debentures that are expiring this year 2025. If you wish to extend you can either opt to extend to 2035 or 2051.    

Please download and complete either the 2035 or 2051 extension form:   

If the original Debenture certificates have been lost, we can still proceed. However, please state this on the extension form [ The form can be sent as a digital scan via email if you do not have the original certificate(s) ]

I have lost my debenture certificates.    

Please submit the redemption form and at the point of uploading a copy of your certificates, you will need to provide photographic ID with proof of address.

When is the deadline to complete the form?   

Please complete the form by Sunday 31st August to ensure we can process your application in a timely manner.    

If you have opted for redemption, we will be verifying the details sent to us. We may contact you if we require any confirmation on the information sent. If verified and correct we will then send your details to our finance team for repayment. Although we will be working through as many submissions as possible, this will take us some time and we thank you in advance for you patience.   

When will I receive the redemption money?   

If you have opted for the redemption and you have completed the form by the deadline date of Sunday 31st August you can expect the funds back by 31st October.   

I have been called by the WRU to confirm my application is this correct?   

Yes, our team will be verifying applications. Our team will never ask for full bank details however. Please note we may ask for the last 3 digits to verify funds go to the correct bank.

Can I transfer the money to family / friends?   

The Debenture money will have to go back to the bank account in the name of the registered owner of the Debenture. After this it is up to the Debenture holder what they do with the funds.  

I don’t have a UK address   

In order for us to process the Debenture redemption, a UK address will be required.    

I don’t have a UK bank account   

We are still able to process an overseas bank account (subject to checks). Please complete the IBAN Number and Swift Code on the redemption form.   

(Swift code’s are also referred to as a BIC code)

The supporting documents we require to transfer the Debenture(s) officially are as follows:    
    
To transfer a Debenture from an individual, we require a transfer form to be completed by all executors of the will/personal representatives/person entitled under the Intestacy Rules of the individual. We also require a copy of the death certificate, the most recent copy of the will, a certified copy of probate and the original Debenture certificates returned to the Debenture office.

I am unable to complete the form as a Debenture Holder, what can I do?   

You can enter the form on behalf of someone else. On page 8 please enter the details of the person who has entered the form.  Please note the nominated bank account for any redemption MUST be in the name of the Debenture Holder.      

Are there any Debentures currently able to purchase?        

At present there are no other Debenture seats to purchase. However, we are currently on sale with our Premium Supporter series.
