To make your visit relaxed and enjoyable, and to comply with
Local & National Government guidelines on COVID-19, we have put the
following conditions in place:
Tour Guide Training
All tour guides receive regular training
so that they are up to date on the latest COVID-19 information.
Coronavirus Symptoms
Any person
with coronavirus symptoms, or who are self-isolating or living with someone who
is self-isolating, will not be allowed access to the stadium or any part of the
tour route. Coronavirus symptoms are a
new continuous cough, a high temperature or loss of or change to sense of smell
or taste. You will be asked if you have
any of these symptoms on arrival.
COVID-19 Symptoms
If you have booked a stadium tour and before
you have taken the tour you start to display any symptoms associated with
COVID-19 (see above), please contact David Cox, the Tours Manager dcox@wru.wales.
Arrival
Time
Visitors are asked not to arrive more than 5 minutes before the start of
the tour at WRU Shop, Westgate Street. All visitors are asked to make their way to the tour booking-in point at the rear of the WRU Shop where they will be met
by the Tour Guide.
Safety Information
Safety information is displayed at the
beginning of and along the tour route for your guidance.
Social Distancing
We are limiting the capacity of each
stadium tour to 20 persons in order to manage the social distancing measures,
currently recommended at 2metres.
Face Coverings/Masks
Hand Sanitising
Hand sanitising stations are located along
the tour route and you will be encouraged to use them at regular intervals.
Cleaning
The tour route and toilets and all touch points are cleaned regularly.
We will automatically cancel your ticket and refund the amount you have paid for your tour to the debit/credit card you used to make the original purchase. We will do this within 30 days of the date on which the announcement is made by the WRU. You are not required to contact us to receive a refund. Please note that the refund will take longer than 30 days if the card used to purchase your tour is no longer in date.
Lanyards & Passes
These will not be handed out to
visitors on the tour.
Photographs
Photographs on the tour route are permitted but
the tour guide will not be able to take them for you on your personal devices.
Group
Sizes
Each tour has been limited to 20 persons to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff.
Group
Bookings
Group bookings or any other tour enquiries,
are to be made direct to the Tours Manager, Dave Cox at dcox@wru.wales.
One-way
System
A one-way system is in place around the tour route with a
separate entry and exit point for your safety.
Pre-Bookings
We encourage all stadium
tours to be pre-booked on-line and we are now operating on a card only
basis. Please note that we may not be
able to accept visitors who turn up on the day. Stadium tours are strictly subject to availability and we strongly
recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Parking
Limited parking is available for visitors with accessibility requirements by prior
arrangement with the Tours Manager (subject to availability and not
guaranteed). There is an NCP Car Park
directly opposite the stadium and Pay & Display parking at nearby Sophia
Gardens.
