To make your visit relaxed and enjoyable, and to comply with
Local & National Government guidelines on COVID-19, we have put the
following conditions in place:
Tour Guide Training
All tour guides receive regular training so that they are up to date on the latest COVID-19 information.
Any person with coronavirus symptoms, or who are self-isolating or living with someone who is self-isolating, will not be allowed access to the stadium or any part of the tour route. Coronavirus symptoms are a new continuous cough, a high temperature or loss of or change to sense of smell or taste. You will be asked if you have any of these symptoms on arrival.
If you have booked a stadium tour and before you have taken the tour you start to display any symptoms associated with COVID-19 (see above), please contact David Cox, the Tours Manager email@example.com .
Visitors are asked not to arrive more than 5 minutes before the start of the tour at the WRU Shop, Westgate Street. All visitors are asked to make their way to the tour booking-in point in the Customer Care Office (First floor in the WRU Shop) where they will be met by the Tour Guide.
Wales Test, Trace & Protect Services
We are working with the NHS Wales TT&P Services so all adults (persons 16 years old and over) will be asked to confirm their identity (Driving Licence/Passport/Bank Card etc.) and provide contact details upon arrival. These details may be passed onto the NHS Wales TT&P Services and failure to hand over your details, will result in your exclusion from the premises. These details will be destroyed after 21 days.
All visitors will have their temperature checked at the start of the tour and if you are displaying a temperature (37.8C or above) you will not be allowed access to the stadium or any part of the tour route.
Safety information is displayed at the beginning of and along the tour route for your guidance.
We are limiting the capacity of each stadium tour to 10 persons in order to manage the social distancing measures, currently 2metres.
Face covering/masks will not be required during the outdoor sections of the tour route. Please note that the stadium is considered indoor when the roof is closed.
Hand sanitising stations are located along the tour route and you will be encouraged to use them at regular intervals.
Protective Hygiene Screens
Protective hygiene screens have been installed at the booking-in desk for your safety.
The tour route and toilets are cleaned regularly and all touch points and desks will be cleaned following every stadium tour.
We will automatically cancel your ticket and refund the amount you have paid for your tour to the debit/credit card you used to make the original purchase. We will do this within 30 days of the date on which the announcement is made by the WRU. You are not required to contact us to receive a refund. Please note that the refund will take longer than 30 days if the card used to purchase your tour is no longer in date.
There will be no access to toilets inside the stadium so visitors will be asked to use the toilets in the Customer Care Office prior to their stadium tour.
Lanyards & Passes
These will not be handed out to visitors on the tour.
Photographs on the tour route are permitted but the tour guide will not be able to take them for you on your personal devices.
Each tour has been limited to 10 persons, with a maximum of 6 persons per individual booking, to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff.
Group bookings of more than 6 persons, or any other tour enquiries, are to be made direct to the Tours Manager, Dave Cox at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A one-way system has been adopted around the tour route with a separate entry and exit point for your safety.
The use of mechanical lifts inside the stadium is limited owing to social distancing measures and with several stairs/steps on the tour route, we ask that you notify the Tours Manager (Dave Cox, email@example.com) prior to attending if you will require any assistance.
We encourage all stadium tours to be pre-booked on-line and we are now operating on a card only basis. Please note that we may not be able to accept visitors who turn up on the day. Stadium tours are strictly subject to availability and we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Limited parking is available for visitors with accessibility requirements by prior arrangement with the Tours Manager (subject to availability and not guaranteed). There is an NCP Car Park directly opposite the stadium and Pay & Display parking at nearby Sophia Gardens.
